The ACT Brumbies have officially unveiled their squad for the 2026 Swyftx Super Rugby Women season. The roster features a formidable mix of seasoned internationals, returning Wallaroos, and dynamic local talent ready to make an impact on the upcoming Super W competition. The current squad contains 29 players, with three more to be added.

Head Coach James Erwin, who also serves as the Brumbies’ Head of Women’s Rugby and Pathways, replaces former coach Andy Friend at the helm for the 2026 season. Erwin will be supported by Senior Assistant Coaches Patricio Noriega, the original Brumby No. 1, and Angus Balmaks.

2026 Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific Women's Squad

The squad boasts incredible national depth, with 11 women currently part of the wider Wallaroos extended squad. This contingent includes Ash Fernandez, Chioma Enyi, Lily Bone, Martha Fua, Millie Parker, Siokapesi Palu-Sekona, Tabua Tuinakauvadra, Tania Naden, Ella Ryan, Faitala Moleka, and Manu'a Moleka.

Seven of these players having recently represented Australia in the Pacific Four Series: Fernandez, Bone, Fua, Palu-Sekona, Naden, Ryan, and Faitala Moleka.

2025 Wallaroo of the Year Tuinakauvadra headlines the inclusions, continuing her return from a meniscus injury sustained at the Women’s Rugby World Cup. Following successful surgery, the young forward is tracking towards availability for Round 1 of the Super Rugby Women’s season.

The club has also secured several high-profile additions. Ivania Wong joins the ACT side after eight impressive seasons with the Queensland Reds. The signing represents a huge coup for the Brumbies Super W program, luring the Reds all-time leading try-scorer and their most capped player for the 2026 season.

The Canberra side has also secured the signature of emerging hooker Millie Parker from the NSW Waratahs. Parker brings a strong sevens background and has also featured in rugby league with the Wests Tigers at junior level.

Adding international flair, Spanish International scrum-half Anne Fernandez de Corres joins the team for the 2026 season, having previously featured prominently for the Spanish women's national team.

The Brumbies are also proud to welcome Savannah Roberts-Hickling to the backline. A proud Bundjalung and Gomeroi woman, Roberts-Hickling comes through the Indigenous Pathways Program, having been part of the first female cohort run at the end of 2025. Switching from her childhood sport of rugby league, she brings exciting speed and strength to the squad.

Highlighting the rich talent within the local Premier 15s competition and the SIRU region, the side also welcomes 2025 Louis Ferris Medal winner and Wests Lioness Jane Morrison. The barnstorming prop had a stellar 2025 season, scoring 18 tries and leading the way for a rampant Wests side.

Head Coach James Erwin said:

“We feel squad reflects the sustained strength of our pathways, with emerging local talent stepping into this environment with confidence, supported by world class internationals who understand what’s required at this level day in and day out. That blend is important for both our pursuit of performance this season alongside the long-term growth of the program, as we kickoff the start of a home World Cup cycle.”

“We’re really pleased with the overall balance of the squad. There’s a strong core of experienced players, who got a lot right in 2025, and who continue to perform for their National sides, with some exciting youth and genuine X factor across the group. The squad has connected well thus far, and with the re-integration of our Wallaroos over the coming weeks, we are looking forward to building cohesion across our pre season fixtures into a big 2026 campaign.”

The Brumbies continue their pre-season build and open their season against the Queensland Reds on 7 June, before a rivalry clash with the NSW Waratahs on 14 June.
