The ACT Brumbies can confirm back-rower Tuaina Taii Tualima will depart the club following the conclusion of the 2026 season.

Tualima, 28, has signed with French club Colomiers and will make the move after two seasons in Canberra.

The back-rower thanked the Brumbies organisation, teammates and supporters for their support during his time at the club.

“My family and I have absolutely loved our time in Canberra and at the Brumbies,” Tuaina said.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the coaches, players, staff and supporters for welcoming us in and making this club feel like home. I’ll always be thankful for the experiences and memories here.”

Tualima arrived at the Brumbies ahead of the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season following previous stints with the Queensland Reds, Melbourne Rebels and Auckland in New Zealand’s NPC competition. He quickly established himself as a hardworking and athletic forward, capable of making an impact through the tight exchanges while also posing a strong ball-running threat in open play.

His performances in Canberra earned him selection for the First Nations & Pasifika XV, where he featured against the touring British & Irish Lions in 2025.

ACT Brumbies Head Coach Stephen Larkham praised Tualima’s contribution to the club both on and off the field.

“Tuaina is a great player and a really top-class person. Everyone at the Brumbies wishes him and his family all the very best as he takes the next step in his rugby journey,” Larkham said.

The Brumbies will conclude their regular season against Moana Pasifika at GIO Stadium this Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 2.35PM.
