Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies Super W head coach Scott Fava has named his side for Sunday’s Buildcorp Super W Semi-Final against the Queensland Reds at Concord Oval in Sydney.

Sally Fuesaina earns her first start at loosehead prop, forming the front row with vice-captain hooker Tania Naden and fellow international Iris Verebalavu.

Tabua Tuinakauvadra shifts to lock alongside vice-captain Kate Holland, with Alyce Solaese earning her first start at blindside flanker. Powerhouses Lydia Kavoa and Grace Kemp complete the forwards pack.

Gisela Vea will partner with Faitala Moleka in the halves, with Sarah Riordan and captain Siokapesi Palu combining in the centres once again.

Biola Dawa will be a potential match winner ruling the left wing, joined by Apryll Green on the right and Ashlea Bishop at fullback.

Harriet Elleman, Brittany Le’Au’Anae and Lila Hifo will form a powerful finishing front row, the impact of the bench proving critical for the team’s performance this season.

Zali Waihape and Jess Grant will bring consistency and control to the gameday squad through their roles at lock.

Jay Huriwai will bring speed and flair, with Brumbies Elite Development Squad player Martha Fua set to make her ACT Brumbies debut off the bench. Gabrielle Petersen completes the Brumbies matchday selection.

Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies Super W head coach, Scott Fava said: “The goal at the start of the season is always to make it to the finals and I’m really proud of the way we’ve worked to get here.

“We’ve hit our strides in the past few weeks and we’re bringing the winning momentum into the semi-final this Sunday.

“We know the Reds are going to be a tough opposition, but I believe in our girls and I know we can get the win.”
