Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies Super W Make Changes for Melbourne Rebels Contest

Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies Super W head coach Scott Fava has named his side for Friday’s Buildcorp Super W round four clash against the Melbourne. Rebels, in the team’s last home game at GIO Stadium.

 

Tongan tighthead prop Lila Hifo rejoins the gameday 23 to combine with international. forwards, loosehead prop Iris Verebalavu and vice-captain hooker Tania Naden.

  

Vice-captain Kate Holland will move to the finishers, with Zali Waihape replacing her at four to combine with Jess Grant, who will pull on the five jersey for the fourth week in a row.

 

Fava has made no changes to the remaining forwards, with Tabua Tuinakauvadra at blind-side flanker, Lydia Kavoa starting at openside flanker and Grace Kemp returning. at eight after a strong performance last week.

  

Gisela Vea will step into the halves at nine, with Gabrielle Petersen bringing her speed and flair at flyhalf.

 

The centre pairing remains unchanged, with Sarah Riordan having impressed. in the Brumbies jersey this season, and captain Siokapesi Palu consistent as ever.

  

Biola Dawa will start on the left wing for the fourth week in a row, joined. by Apryll Green, and Brumbies Super W 2023 leading point scorer Ashlea Bishop at fullback.

 

Harriet Elleman returns to the finishers with Sally Fuesaina and Amy Rule playing an important role in closing out the game.

 

Vice-captain Holland will bring firepower from the bench with Samoan international Alyce Solaese ready to impress again after a big effort last week.  

 

Potential match winner Jay Huriwai will bolster the finishers with Emerina Marsh-Kiro set to make her ACT Brumbies debut off the bench. Teenage dynamite Faitala Moleka completes the Brumbies matchday selection.

  

Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies Super W head coach, Scott Fava said: “We’ve made a few changes to the line-up this week, following strong performances at training.

"Bubba (Marsh-Kiro) has been working really hard for the past few months so it will be very special to see her potentially earn her ACT Brumbies debut.

“As our last home game for the season, we’re excited to have the Brumbies family behind us and we’re going to come out fighting against the Rebels side.”
