The Plus500 Brumbies have welcomed Henry Stowers to the playing squad as injury cover for Tom Cusack and James Tucker the rest of the Harvey Norman Super Rugby AU season.
26-year-old Stowers was formerly with the Western Force where he played in seven Super Rugby AU matches last year before joining the Hunter Wildfires for the 2021 Shute Shield competition.
Prior to heading to Perth, Stowers was in New Zealand where he played for Wellington and Bay of Plenty in the ITM Cup.
Plus500 Brumbies backrower Henry Stowers said: “It's been great so far in Canberra, the players have been really welcoming since I arrived."
"I've been in Newcastle with the Wildfires and got a phone call from Dan McKellar to see if I was able to travel down, so I jumped in the car and I'm here and it's a privilege.
"I've been focusing on training and trying to get myself match fit, being away from this level for sometime I'm just trying to keep up and hopefully I get a chance to don the jersey."
Plus500 Brumbies coach Dan McKellar said: “We're really thankful to be able to call on someone of Henry's experience at this stage of the competition."
"He's a player who knows what it takes at this level and he's come in really keen to learn and improve and be part of the Brumbies organisation."
