Brumby James Slipper will start alongside club teammates Allan Alaalatoa and Billy Pollard in the front-row for his final Test for the Wallabies against New Zealand at Optus Stadium on Saturday (5.45pm kick-off).
Slipper, 36, will retire from international rugby after this game and packs down with Pollard, fresh from scoring against New Zealand last week, and Alaalatoa, who makes his first start since suffering a shoulder injury against the British & Irish Lions.
Nick Frost and Tom Hooper are also named in the pack, with form centre Len Ikitau retaining his place at 12 alongside Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii in the centres.
The returning Rob Valetini and scrum half Ryan Lonergan, who made his Test debut last week, are both named on the bench.
Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt said: “The squad has dusted themselves off from the disappointment in Auckland and they’ve worked away this week, in preparation for what’s going to be another torrid Test match against New Zealand on Saturday.
“The support has been fantastic this year, especially when playing in Australia, and we’ll be hoping to put in a performance that is worthy of that support in our final home Test of 2025.”
