Six representatives of the Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies have been selected in the Wallaroos side to take on South Africa in Cape Town on Sunday morning at 1:00am AEST.

Brumbies Super Rugby Women's flyhalf Faitala Moleka retains her number 10 jersey following her impressive outing against Wales last week in which the 19-year-old was awarded Player of the Match honours.

Joining her in the starting side are fellow Brumbies Tania Baden, Siokapesi Palu and Tabua Tuinakauvadra, all in the forwards. Additionally, forwards Lydia Kavoa and Allana Sikimeti will provide impact from the bench once again.

Wallaroos coach Jo Yapp said: “Last week’s win was a good start to the tournament and it’s important we grow from here and put in another strong performance." “We were happy with parts of our game but know there’s room for improvement in other areas and South Africa will present a big challenge on home turf.

Brumby Ashley Fernandez has unfortunately had her WXV 2 tournament hopes cut short after injuring her shoulder during at a training session, however her coach says Fernandez's progress has been monumental since joining the tour. “It’s unfortunate to lose Nat [Wright] and Ash to injury, both have been working really hard and made a lot of progress," said Yapp.
