The ACT Brumbies are delighted to announce exciting halfback Klayton Thorn has re-signed with the club for a further season, extending his contract until the end of 2027.
One of the most entertaining young talents in Australian rugby, Thorn has developed into a key member of the Brumbies squad since arriving in Canberra through the club's development pathway.
A product of Waverley College and Randwick Juniors, Thorn first earned a place in the Brumbies Elite Development Squad before impressing with the Gungahlin Eagles during the 2022 John I Dent Cup season. His performances earned selection in the senior Brumbies squad, and he made his Super Rugby debut against the Western Force in 2023.
Since then, the 23-year-old has become known for his electric running game, sharp service and ability to produce moments of brilliance when his side needs them most.
Klayton Thorn said extending his time with the Brumbies was the continuation of a dream he had as a young rugby player.
"Re-signing with the Brumbies was an easy decision. This club has invested in me since I came through their pathway system, and there was nowhere else I wanted to be. I feel like I'm only just getting started."

ACT Brumbies Head Coach Stephen Larkham said Thorn's re-signing was another positive outcome for the club.
