Rugby Australia and the ACT Brumbies are delighted to announce Nick Frost has re-committed to Australian Rugby.
The 25-year-old’s new contract will see him remain in the nation’s capital until the end of 2027, making the athletic second rower the latest in a string of key Wallabies to sign until at least the home Rugby World Cup.
Born in Sydney, Frost began his rugby journey as a Hornsby Lions junior, and was educated at Knox Grammar, where he was selected in the 2017 Australian Schoolboys side.
A product of the Australian pathways, in 2019 he was part of the Junior Wallabies squad that came runners-up to France in the u20 World Championship in Argentina; a tournament where was remembered for a viral 60-metre solo try, outpacing a number of Ireland’s outside backs.
The 206cm tall-timber joined the ACT Brumbies program in 2019 where he honed his set-piece and was part of the squad that lifted the 2020 Super Rugby AU title, in what was his first professional season, since going on to play for the club on 67 occasions.
His strong form at club level saw him named in the 2021 Wallabies squad, however he would need to wait until the following year to make his Test debut against England in Perth, going on to make nine appearances for Australia in his debut International season.
He has since become a mainstay of the Wallabies setup, part of the 2023 Rugby World Cup group and featured heavily in Joe Schmidt’s matchday squads throughout 2024, amassing 25 Tests so far in the gold jersey.
His re-signing further strengthens the ACT Brumbies and Wallabies moving into this year’s British & Irish Lions Series and the home Rugby World Cup in a little over two years’ time.

“As a kid growing up I always dreamed to represent the Wallabies and with a couple of really key milestones coming up in Australian Rugby and I’ll be doing everything I can to be part of those in a gold jersey.”
