Gungahlin Eagles playmaker Isaac Crowe claimed the Bentspoke John I Dent Cup’s tog gong on Tuesday morning with the 22-year-old being named Macdougall Medalist for 2022.
Crowe led from pillar to post in the Macdougall standings, holding off a storming late-season comeback from Brumbies backrowers Charlie Cale (Uni-Norths Owls) and Rory Scott, who missed much of the early part of the season on Super Rugby Pacific duty.
Wallaroos’ powerhouse Grace Kemp took home the Premier 15s top award, the Louise Ferris Medal for the second year in a row.
Kemp was dominant on her way to victory despite missing time on international duty.
Adam Butt’s successful first season in charge at Royals was recognised with the Michael Hickey Memorial trophy award.
Royals general Pedro Rolando added another Gus Vallance trophy to his collection with Cale’s try-scoring exploits acknowledged with the John Hunter trophy.
