ACT Brumbies Swyftx Super Rugby Women’s Head Coach James Erwin spoke to media after naming his side to face the Queensland Reds in the team’s first trial match of 2026 on Sunday 17 May at Brumbies HQ, University of Canberra, kick-off at 1pm.
The squad features a dose of Wallaroos experience alongside an exciting mix of local talent, with Erwin hopeful the clash will provide a strong platform to build combinations ahead of the 2026 Super Rugby Women’s season.
