The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies are excited to announce that the Super Rugby Pacific’s 16-round draw for 2025 has been released.
Headlined by home fixtures against every Australian club at GIO Stadium, the Brumbies will host traditional rivals the NSW Waratahs and Queensland Reds in Round 12 and 14 respectively.
New Zealand powerhouses the Hurricanes and Crusaders will also head to Canberra late in the season in Rounds 11 and 16, in what is sure to provide a continuation of recent fierce on-field battles.
With a total of seven fixtures at GIO Stadium, special fixtures including Kids Round and ANZAC Weekend Round will also be held in the Capital with matches against the Fijian Drua and the Hurricanes.
The Brumbies will get the opportunity to face four Super Rugby Pacific sides twice in 2025, with both a home and away fixture scheduled against the Drua, Waratahs, Reds and Western Force.
Round 1 on Saturday 15 February will also see the ACT side square off in Suva for a chance to face the Drua on Fijian soil, before the side returns for its first home fixture of the season against the Western Force at GIO Stadium on Saturday 22 February.
ACT Brumbies Chief Executive Phil Thomson said: “the 2025 draw provides a great deal of excitement and anticipation, with seven matches at home and the opportunity to host all Australian clubs it certainly ensures what will be another terrific season of fixtures at GIO Stadium.”
“The Brumbies can also look forward to opening the season with an away trip to Fiji which will provide a welcomed challenge to the side early in the competition.”
“With the draw being finalised, the club is eager to launch into the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season as we hope to welcome our loyal Brumbies members and supporters back through the gates of GIO Stadium in each of our seven home matches.”
