The Tabcorp Brumbies are pleased to announce that players who represent the club in Buildcorp Super W will be presented with a commemorative cap.
Made possible with the support of Ray White Canberra, all players who have played for the Brumbies in Super W since its inception in 2018 and moving forward will receive their cap after debuting for the club, in keeping with the tradition established for the men’s side.
With eight players making their first appearance for the Brumbies in their round one victory on Saturday against the Melbourne Rebels, a total of 65 players have worn the Brumbies colours in Super W to date, with prop Anna Koravata being Brumby #1.
Brumbies Rugby CEO, Phil Thomson said: “This is a fantastic new initiative for our Super W program, one which we believe has important symbolic significance.”
“Every person who plays for the Brumbies, in Super Rugby or Super W, has special meaning to the club and the Honour Cap is the ultimate representation of that.
“Ray White Canberra have been integral in establishing the inaugural Super W Caps initiative and on behalf of the Brumbies, I want to thank them for their support.”
Ray White Canberra Chairman and Founder, Ben Faulks said: "We are a proudly locally owned business, and long term supporters of not only the Brumbies, but grass roots sport in the Canberra community."
"We are delighted to align ourselves with the Brumbies Super W and look forward to growing that relationship in the years ahead."
