The Plus500 Brumbies are pleased to announce 21-year-old centre Hudson Creighton will join the club's Super Rugby Pacific squad until the end of 2023.

Creighton made his Super Rugby debut for the Queensland Reds during last season’s Trans-Tasman competition and played a starring role for Brothers in this year’s Hospital Cup.

The Padua College product skippered Brisbane City to an U19 National title in 2019 and is known for his aggressive style and deceptive kicking game.

Plus500 Brumbies centre Hudson Creighton said: “I’m really excited to be coming down to Canberra to join the Brumbies.”

“The club and the program have such a strong reputation for getting the best out of players and I’m really keen to get stuck into preseason and put my best foot forward.

“From everything I have heard, the club is very welcoming and has that family feel so my job is to just make a good impression, work hard for my teammates in preseason and put my hand up for selection this season.”

The addition of Creighton will bolster the Brumbies back options with the majority of the 2021 group returning for the next season and the beginning of a new era, with Super Rugby Pacific having been confirmed for the next two years.

Plus500 Brumbies head coach Dan McKellar said: “We’re delighted to welcome Hudson to the Brumbies.”

“He has all the right attributes that will help him fit in at the club. He’s strong, aggressive in contact with an excellent left boot, and from all reports, he’s a hard working young bloke who's ready to come down and chase that Super Rugby dream.

“This preseason block with Seiby and Lord will be great for his development and he’ll be a quality addition for us at least these next couple of years.”
