Tuaina Taii Tualima
Auckland-born versatility with a forward’s engine — Tuiana Taii Tualima brings power and adaptability to the Brumbies pack.
Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Tualima built his foundation at Brisbane State High, where his all-round game quickly stood out. Representing Queensland U20s, Queensland Sevens and Australian Schoolboys, he established himself early as a hardworking and athletic forward capable of influencing both tight exchanges and open play.
His performances for Brisbane City, along with experience gained at the Youth Commonwealth Games, showcased his development on the national stage. That progression earned him a Super Rugby opportunity with the Queensland Reds, where he made his debut in 2020 against the Waratahs — a significant milestone in his rising career.
In 2023, Tualima transitioned to the Melbourne Rebels, continuing to build experience across multiple seasons of Super Rugby before the conclusion of the 2024 campaign. He arrived in Canberra ahead of the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season, adding depth, experience and adaptability to the Brumbies forward pack.
Heading into the 2026 season, Tualima stands as a seasoned and versatile forward — capable across the locks and backrow — bringing physical presence, work rate and valuable top-tier experience to the Brumbies squad.
