Arguably the fastest player in Super Rugby, Toni Pulu comes into his second season with the Plus500 Brumbies ready to terrify defences with his blistering speed and fast feet.

Born in Los Angeles, Pulu’s journey to Canberra saw him play much of his junior rugby in New Zealand where he represented Counties Manukau provincially and the Chiefs in Super Rugby.

Pulu’s first season was stunted before it got going, the winger being ruled out for six weeks with a facial injury, ten minutes into Round One.

Pulu recovered, and once he got back into the side, he was electric. Pulu was a constant threat, and his break and assist to Tevita Kuridrani away to the Crusaders was one of the most memorable moments of 2019.

2020 beckons as another breakout season for Pulu, where he likely to be one of the Brumbies most crucial attacking weapons in the wider channels.
