Tom Ross is an old-school prop, and an old-school bloke in fact. A front-rower who lives for the set-piece and goes about his work with a maturity beyond his years. Ross has long been on a path towards Super Rugby and gets his first chance with the Brumbies in 2019.

The Daramalan product was exceptional last season, both with the Gungahlin Eagles and in Gold, for the Junior Wallabies. Ross was one of Australia’s best at the U20 World Cup in France, impressing with his scrummaging, silky skill-set and work-rate for a tighthead of his age. With experienced players in Ross’ position, 2019 will be about progression and development.

A year with the Brumbies learning off the best will no doubt set Ross up for a future which appears to be extremely bright. Ross made his first leap towards senior pro-rugby in the offseason with the Canberra Vikings in the NRC.
