Piper Rankmore is a Gunnedah product who is gearing up for her first season with the ACT Brumbies after making the move to the nation's capital.
A middle child to two brothers, Rankmore spent plenty of time in the backyard playing with the footy which led her to take up rugby at age 16.
She excelled at rugby league, Oztag, touch football and soccer locally but rugby is where Rankmore has found her feet as a back-rower.
