Lington Ieli
Fijian fire, Brumbies forged — Lington Leli hits with intent.
A damaging front rower who has risen through the Brumbies pathway from Under 19 level, Leli represents the next wave of home-developed power in Canberra. Born in Fiji and later honing his craft in the ACT system, he blends raw strength with the pride of his heritage every time he packs down.
A Junior Wallaby already, Leli is no stranger to elite environments. Now 21, he carries himself with the composure of someone who understands the standard required at the top level. His physicality in contact and presence at set piece mark him as a front rower built for modern Super Rugby.
In 2025, he achieved a special milestone — making his Brumbies debut in Fiji, the country of his birth, in Round One of the Super Rugby Pacific season. It was a full-circle moment that underlined both his journey and his potential.
Heading into the 2026 season, Leli stands as part of a new generation determined to uphold the Brumbies’ proud legacy — powerful, proud and ready to make the front row his own.
