Judah Saumaisue

Two nations, one powerful presence — Judah Saumaisue plays with pride stitched into every carry. 

A dual international at Under 20 level for both Fiji and Australia, Saumaisue arrived in Canberra from the Melbourne Rebels ahead of the 2025 season carrying both pedigree and potential. Still young, but built with imposing size and maturity beyond his years, he wasted little time making his mark in Brumbies colours. 

His Super Rugby debut came in Round One of 2025 — fittingly in Fiji, a nation he had previously represented at youth level. It was a full-circle moment, returning to familiar soil in new colours, and announcing himself on the big stage with the physicality and presence that define his game. 

Strong through contact and uncompromising in defence, Saumaisue adds punch and versatility to the forward pack. His ability to bend the line and bring energy to collisions gives the Brumbies valuable go-forward in tight exchanges. 

Now with a full season in Canberra under his belt, his understanding of the Brumbies system continues to grow — as does his influence within the squad. 

Heading into the 2026 season, Saumaisue shapes as a powerful, proud forward ready to turn promise into dominance, carrying both his heritage and his ambition into every contest.
