Joe Dillon
London-born, Sydney-bred — Joe Dillon plays with polish and punch beyond his years.
Born in Westminster before growing up in Castle Cove, Dillon’s rugby journey started at 11 with Chatswood Junior Rugby Club. From those early days at Chatswood, it was clear he had time — that rare ability to slow the game down when others rush.
Educated at Castle Cove Public School and St Ignatius’ College Riverview, Dillon refined his craft in one of Sydney’s strongest rugby nurseries, later continuing his studies at Sydney University. At 179cm and 94kg, he brings a strong, balanced frame and a competitive edge to match. Inspired by the composure of Matt Toomua and the creativity of Quade Cooper, Dillon blends control with flair — capable of steering a side around the park or attacking the line himself.
His work ethic has been shaped off the field too. From landscaping and pizza delivery shifts to coaching the next generation, Dillon understands graft. Away from rugby, you’ll find him on the golf course, spending time with mates and family, or deep in discussion about country music playlists and emerging artists.
Heading into the 2026 season, Dillon shapes as an exciting young playmaker — composed, confident and ready to turn potential into performance on the big stage.
