Explosive, powerful and gone in a flash — Jarrah McLeod turns half-gaps into line breaks.

Born in Moruya and raised in Nowra, McLeod didn’t pick up rugby until the age of 14, but what he lacked in early exposure, he’s made up for with rapid development. After moving to Sydney for school at Knox Grammar, he began building his game from the ground up, quickly turning raw athleticism into a genuine rugby skillset.

Standing at 6’1” and 98kg, McLeod is a dangerous ball-runner, combining speed and strength to punch through the smallest of openings. Whether it’s a quick step or a surge through contact, he has a knack for finding space where there shouldn’t be any and making defenders pay for it.

A proud Yuin man, McLeod continues to rise through the ranks. He represented the First Nations & Pasifika XV against the British & Irish Lions, delivering one of the standout performances of the match. McLeod has also pulled on the green and gold in the Sevens arena, making his debut for the Australian Men’s Sevens team at the HSBC Perth Sevens earlier this year.

Heading into the 2026 season, McLeod shapes as an electric attacking weapon - explosive, fearless and ready to break games open in Brumbies colours.
