Eli Langi
Driven, disciplined and built for the grind - Eli Langi is doing the hard work early.
Born in Brisbane and developed through Sunnybank Dragons, Langi didn’t take up rugby until 13 but has wasted no time accelerating through the ranks. Educated at Robertson State School and Brisbane State High, he quickly established himself as a powerful, intelligent forward with a natural feel for the game.
At 192cm and 106kg, Langi brings presence and versatility, capable of covering all back-row positions. A strong lineout operator with a high work rate, he pairs physicality with skill - a combination that has coaches excited about his ceiling. Inspired by greats like Jerome Kaino and Ardie Savea, his game reflects both edge and athleticism.
In 2025, he captained the Brumbies U19s to the Super Rugby final and represented Australia at the U20 World Championship in Italy, further proving his credentials on the international stage. His standout season was recognised with the Graham Gordon Memorial Trophy as the Brumbies’ Best and Fairest U20 player.
Highly regarded for his attitude and toughness, Langi’s rapid development has been matched by strong leadership qualities - a player who pushes himself and those around him to higher standards.
Heading into the 2026 season, Langi shapes as one of the Brumbies’ most exciting young forwards - skilful, driven and ready to take the next step into senior rugby.
