Blake Schoupp

Schouppy is what would happen if you built a prop in a lab - big, powerful and with a heavy dose of competitive fire.  

Born and raised in Wollongong, New South Wales, Schoupp honed his skills at the prestigious St Joseph’s Nudgee College in Queensland before returning home to represent Randwick. In 2018, he joined Southern District Rugby Club, where his performances began turning heads nationally. 

Initially brought into the Waratahs as COVID cover, Schoupp’s talent soon caught the Brumbies’ eye, prompting a move to Canberra ahead of the 2023 Super Rugby season. He made an immediate impact, debuting against his former club and leaving a mark on the competition from day one. Rapidly, he established himself as a rising force, earning five Wallabies caps and a spot in the 2023 Rugby World Cup squad. 

Heading into 2026, Schoupp looks set to cement his reputation as a cornerstone of the Brumbies’ front row, blending explosive power, technical precision, and growing experience to make a serious mark on Australian rugby.
