Billy Pollard

Billy is a cannonball in human form – a hooker who ricochets through traffic and smashes into contact with reckless abandon.  

Born and raised in Hornsby, New South Wales, Billy honed his game at Barker College, where his consistency and work rate quickly set him apart at schoolboy level. 

His performances earned national recognition with selection in the Australian Schoolboys and Australian U18s sides, with the latter famously defeating New Zealand in Hamilton. The Brumbies secured Pollard’s signature at the end of the 2019 season, and he made his Super Rugby debut off the bench against the Highlanders in 2021. He continued to build his role within the squad throughout the 2022 season, cementing himself as a reliable option in the front row. 

That form was rewarded later in 2022 when Pollard received the call-up to the Wallabies, stepping into the Test arena. Heading into the 2026 season, Pollard is set to take the step from promising talent to a seasoned powerhouse, ready to stamp his authority on the competition.
