The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies are proud to announce that five Super Rugby Women's representatives have been selected in the Wallaroos first WXV 2 fixture in South Africa, taking on Wales on Saturday the 28th of September at 8:30PM AEST.

With a strong presence in the starting side, Tania Naden will link with Siokapesi Palu and Tabua Tuinakauvadra in the forward pack. Backing up the trio will be fellow Brumbies Lydia Kavoa and Faitala Moleka who will feature off the bench.

Wallaroos coach Jo Yapp said: “We’ve had a good week so far in Cape Town and have prepared well.  “We’re expecting another close match with Wales on Saturday to start our campaign and are confident if we can tidy up our discipline the results will follow."  “It’s similar team to last week with Arabella coming into the starting side and Cecilia Smith back in the 23. They both bring key experience for the tournament.”

The Wallaroos look to redeem a strong effort last week in a clash against Wales where the Australian Women would fall by just seven points at full-time.

Following the fixture against Wales, the Wallaroos will back up in consecutive weeks to take on South Africa and Scotland in the WXV series also.
