The ACT and Southern NSW rugby union join our friends at Easts Rugby Club in mourning the loss of Gordon Scott.

A titan of the club for more than 50 years, Gordon's service to Easts from his playing days that began in 1966 to his time as a coach, administrator and president showed unparalleled devotion.

Gordon, also an ACT representative, became the first player to play 300 games for Easts in 1984 and was awarded life membership of the club in the same year. Gordon also coached Easts under-18 to an undefeated season in 1987.

The ACT and Southern NSW Rugby Union offer our sincere condolences to Gordon's family, and our friends at Easts at this difficult time. R.I.P Gordon
