Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham has named his side for Saturday’s Harvey Norman Super Rugby Pacific Quarter Final at GIO Stadium in Canberra.

Winger Corey Toole is ruled out through injury for this week, with Ollie Sapsford shifting to the left wing. After completing return to play protocols, Noah Lolesio is named in the finishers with Jack Debreczeni starting at flyhalf.

Up-front, Lachlan Lonergan is fit to take his place in the Brumbies side with James Slipper and Sefo Kautai at prop.

Nick Frost will partner Cadeyrn Neville in the second row with Pete Samu back in the run-on side alongside Rob Valetini and Jahrome Brown in the backrow.

Nic White will captain the side from scrumhalf and partner Debreczeni in the halves with Tamati Tua and Len Ikitau combining in the centres.

Andy Muirhead and Tom Wright form the back-three with Sapsford.

Connal McInerney, Blake Schoupp and Rhys Van Nek will come on in the front row, with Tom Hooper and Luke Reimer bringing impact to the back-five, Hooper comfortable at lock or in the backrow.

Ryan Lonergan and Lolesio are the finishing halves pairing, with veteran Jesse Mogg completing the Brumbies Quarter Final squad.

Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies head coach, Stephen Larkham said: “This is the time of year everyone plays for and we’re in a good place heading into a massive challenge against the Hurricanes. “

“It’s disappointing for Tooley to miss out, but he was just not right to go and Ollie has played a lot of rugby on the wing for Hawke’s Bay so we know he’ll do a job for us.

“We love playing at home, and we know we’ll have the crowd behind us so we’ll be ready to go at 7:35pm Saturday night.”
