The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies are excited to announce the two year extension of 28-year-old outside back Ollie Sapsford until the end of 2026.

Brumby number 240 Sapsford has been an integral part to the Brumbies strong 2024 campaign so far and has shown immense talent since joining the club at the end of 2021.

Signing on for another two years is something the defensively dominant winger says he is looking forward to as he aims for more consistent appearances in Super Rugby Pacific.

The talented back has featured in every 2024 fixture for the ACT Brumbies as the franchise continues its charge towards the business end of the competition.

"It feels really good to have re-signed, I'm super excited and grateful to be staying here for another couple years," said Sapsford.

"I've really enjoyed my first three years here and I’d love to play 50 games for this club. I think I'm just over halfway at the moment, so if I can keep getting in that 23 every week, I'll be pretty happy.

"The club from the academy all the way to the CEO is in a really good spot and really well connected. It's a club where you get better individually and as a team and I feel like we've got something very special going on here.

"I really, really want to win a championship with these guys."

The Brumbies will host the Melbourne Rebels in their final home regular season fixture at GIO Stadium, Canberra on Friday May 24 at 7:35PM AEST.
