Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies young duo Noah Lolesio and Billy Pollard have taken up exciting short-term playing opportunities in France.

Lolesio has reported for preseason training with French titans, Toulon, with fellow Australian Jake Gordon and Welsh hero Alan Wyn Jones also on Rugby World Cup 'Joker' deals at the famous outfit.

The 23-year-old will return to the Brumbies in November for preseason training.

Pollard will link up with reigning back-to-back European champions La Rochelle, the hooker set to return to Canberra in September.

Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies head coach, Stephen Larkham said: "The club is very supportive of Noah and Billy gaining valuable experience with two top European clubs."

"For both Billy and Noah, experiencing new rugby environments and culture off the field can only aid in their development as players and people and we look forward to welcoming them back in plenty of time to prepare for the 2024 season."
