Several players from the ACT Brumbies Women's program have been named in Australia Women’s Rugby Sevens squads for the 2025/2026 HSBC SVNS World Series.
Bienne Terita and Tia Hinds, who appeared in our Super Rugby Women's campaign, have both been selected. While Sidney Taylor, Khali Henwood, Kaitlin Shave, Madison Ashby and Ruby Nicholas played for our Next Gen 7s.
Our Next Gen 7s side reached the final of the competition, but were just beaten 31-26 in the final against the Reds at Ballymore Stadium.
Both the men's and the women's squads returned to pre-season training in August ahead of the nine-round global competition, which kicks off in Dubai on 29 November.
Sevens National Performance Manager Scott Bowen said: "We’re really pleased with the quality of the squads assembled for the 2025/2026 season starting in November.
"Liam and Tim have done a fantastic job preparing both squads ahead of the new season and we’re looking forward to getting back on the field.
"We’ve been able to retain every player who was part of our women’s squad last season while we have several new signings in the men’s program who are exciting and part of the next generation coming through in Australian rugby.
"We’d also like to thank those who depart our men’s program and wish them all the very best for the future."
