The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies have launched a Dutch auction for all 23 gameday editions of our specially-created Anzac Weekend Round jersey.

Brumbies members and fans will be able to own a piece of history from the 2025 Smartech Super Rugby Pacific Anzac Weekend Round, where we took on the Hurricanes at GIO Stadium for the inaugural Captain Shout Cup.

With each jersey to be signed by the player who wore that shirt, proceeds from the auction will be donated to Marymead CatholicCare Canberra & Goulburn.

Marymead is a well-respected, not-for-profit organisation servicing the ACT and southern and western regional areas of NSW, that has been delivering a range of high quality, individual and family support services (children, young people and their families) for over 60 years.

The main feature on our 2025 Anzac Weekend Round jersey is the ship, HMAS Canberra, and two of its landing craft. The club has a long-standing connection with Canberra, with Brumbies teams previously having the honour of being hosted onboard the ship on several occasions.

What is a Dutch Auction?

A Dutch auction refers to a type of auction in which an auctioneer starts with a set price, incrementally lowering the price until someone places a bid. That first bid wins the auction/jersey, avoiding any bidding wars with other interested parties.

All 23 game worn 2025 Anzac Weekend Round Jerseys will start at a bidding price of $1,250 AUD. The auction is now LIVE, with the first price drop to take place at 7:30PM AEST on Thursday 8th May. A price drop of $50 AUD will occur every 10 minutes till it reaches the minimum price of $300.

Own a piece of history and visit the Brumbies Shop to place your bid today.
