The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies Senior Assistant Coach Rod Seib will lead an Australia XV squad will travelling to the United Kingdom in November for matches against Bristol Bears and England A.

The squad’s first match will be against Bristol at the iconic Ashton Gate on Friday, November 8, 115 years after the first touring Australian team played a combined Bristol and Clifton team.

The following week, on Sunday, November 17, the side will take on England A at the Twickenham Stoop.

Following a strong season in 2024 with the Brumbies, Seib says he is eager to continue pushing his coaching abilities this year in the UK.

"The opportunity to take over a strong Australian XV side is something I am really excited by," said Seib.

“I have learnt many valuable lessons and enjoyed positive experiences having previously had the privilege of attending Australia A tours as an Assistant Coach. It’s always great fun working with a highly motivated playing and coaching group.”

“As a coaching group we’re keen to work with and assist in the development of future Wallabies. Adding player depth to the Wallabies is an important outcome of this program.”
