ACT Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham has named a strong side to take on NSW Waratahs in this Saturday's practice match at St. Edmund's College in Canberra, kick off 1:30pm.

Entry is free for all, with the ACT and Southern NSW Kestrels clash against the President’s XV at 11:30 the other half of what is an exciting end of season double-header.

The contracted trio of Harry Vella, Billy Pollard and Tom Ross will start in the front row, Vella having been promoted to the club’s Super Rugby Pacific squad for 2023.

Tuggeranong Vikings lock duo Cam Holt and Jack Wright will combine in the second row, with Jahrome Brown, Rory Scott and Charlie Cale forming a formidable backrow.

Ryan Lonergan will partner 2023 recruit Jack Debreczeni in the halves, with Ben O’Donnell also set to wear ACT colours for the first time on the left wing.

Aussie Sevens flyer Corey Toole returns to the ACT to start on the right flank, with Chris Feauai-Sautia partnering Australian A centre Hudson Creighton in the midfield.

Declan Meredith completes the starting side from fullback.

The finishing group will feature development talent from the Bentspoke John I Dent Cup and Shute Shield, as well as former Brumbies Robbie Coleman, John Ulugia and Rodney Iona who is set to continue his career in Major League Rugby.
