Former Plus500 Brumbies and current Rugby AU Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Warren McDonald has been acknowledged with an honorary doctorate by the University of Canberra.

Dr. McDonald was recognised by UC, for his dedication and work lecturing at the University while being involved in Professional Rugby, both with the Brumbies and the Wallabies.

Playing a key role behind the scenes, Dr. McDonald was a crucial figure in Rugby’s return in 2020, working to ensure the game could be played safely at all levels. The Brumbies would like to thank Dr. McDonald for his service, and continued commitment to rugby in Australia, an esteemed member of the Brumbies Family.
