The Plus500 Brumbies were delighted to reveal their brand-new playing jersey for the 2019 Super Rugby season at a special launch event held at Brumbies HQ in Bruce on Monday 19 November.

The jersey, produced in association with new Official Apparel Partner O’Neills, ties into the Brumbies proud history with the use of the traditional white/navy blue/Brumbies orange colours for the home jersey, producing a vibrant and timeless style with a modern twist.

The away jersey, which will be predominantly dark blue, adds an exciting fresh look to what is sure to be a popular range of products from the world-renowned sporting manufacturer.

O’Neills have also developed a striking range of off-field apparel for the team and club staff including a training shirt produced in an array of colours such as Navy and Turquoise for the players and Grey and Purple for the coaching staff while the Dark Turquoise will be worn by the Community Engagement staff.

“We are extremely delighted with the production of the new range of gear from O’Neills, especially our new home and away jersey’s,” Plus500 Brumbies CEO Phil Thomson commented.

“The new jersey is an amalgamation of the traditional with the modern and is likely to be a popular choice for our loyal supporters.

“In addition, our coaching staff, community department staff and commercial teams have been provided with a new range of club wear which I am sure will be well received by all."

One of the main advantages in choosing O’Neills as the kit partner for the Plus500 Brumbies is that O’Neills own all their own European manufacturing facilities, therefore controlling all aspects of their production cycle which in turn facilitates a much shorter delivery time.

“O’Neills is delighted to partner with the Plus500 Brumbies for the 2019 and 2020 Rugby seasons as official kit provider,” Antoinette Brophy, O’Neills Australasia General Manager commented.

“We have engaged our century of experience and passion for the game of rugby to focus on producing a quality outcome for Brumbies players, staff and supporters in all facets of the design and development of the season 2019 kits.

“We are equal parts excited and proud to see the Plus500 Brumbies take to the field in the O’Neills kit and wish them every success for the season ahead.”
