Biography

Tom Ross lived out his dream in 2019, becoming Brumby #215 in a win against the Waratahs at GIO Stadium. It was a moment long in the making for the Canberra local.

A product of the Brumbies pathways system, the Tighthead played for all of the Brumbies junior sides while at school in Daramalan College.

Toward the backend of 2018, Ross was promoted to the senior squad for the new season, having represented the Junior Wallabies at the U20 World Cup earlier that year.

With his natural flair for the darker arts, the set-piece, Ross looked comfortable at the Super Rugby level in his three appearances, despite being a rookie.

Ross’ reputation as a scrummager, and as a valuable clubman at the Brumbies is only growing.

Tighthead props usually peak around 26 years of age, so at 21, Tom Ross has a jump on most, 2020 being another step in his Brumbies career.
