An elusive and slippery runner, Mack Hansen continues his upward trajectory as he enters the 2021 season with the Brumbies.
The versatile back saw game time across the back three and also at flyhalf in 2020, starting his first match for his boyhood club in round one of Super Rugby AU at fullback.
The 22-year-old from Canberra’s Daramalan School featured in five matches for the side in 2020, completing every young Brumbies’ fan dream, kicking the winning penalty goal after the siren against the Queensland Reds at GIO Stadium – it was also the first time the side has worn their Indigenous jersey.
His elusiveness is outlined with the fast-footed Hansen making 14 tackle busts from just 19 runs in 2020.
Midway through 2020, Hansen signed a contract extension for what could prove to be a defining season for the Junior Wallabies representative.
