Jordan Jackson-Hope

  • 23 Age

In his limited game time last season, Jordan Jackson-Hope showed why he belongs at Super Rugby level. Beautifully balanced with an elite eye for space, the centre/flyhalf can pull the strings with terrific poise.

Since he made his debut in 2016, Jackson-Hope has steadily grown as a player, and in 2019 we may see him flourish. Kyle Godwin’s departure leaves a hole open at inside centre for a guy who can be a playmaker outside either Christian Lealiifano or Wharenui Hawera, and Jackson-Hope fits that bill perfectly.

He was superb in Tuggeranong Vikings colours while not in the Brumbies squad last season, terrifying defenders with his subtlety and vision. Time is on Jackson-Hope’s side as well. At the tender age of 22, there’s no rush for Jackson-Hope to break through as a starter but expect to see much more of the one they call ‘Rabs’ in 2019.
