2020 was another stellar season for Brumbies first choice hooker Folau Fainga’a scoring a try in the side’s history-making Super Rugby AU Grand Final win.
It was one of 10 five-pointers for the prolific try-scorer who went within one try of becoming the first player in Super Rugby history to cross the white line in seven consecutive matches.
His set-piece as well as his workrate around the field continues to improve with the Sydney-born 25-year-old making 79 tackles and carrying the ball 52 times in a stop-start 2020 season.
He was rewarded with his name called out in Dave Rennie’s Wallabies squad where he featured in four of six Tests of the international season.
Growing in confidence every season, Brumbies supporters will be hoping to see plenty of more of Fainga’a’s contagious smile in 2021.
