Wallabies Head Coach Joe Schmidt has named 10 Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies players amongst his 35-player squad for the upcoming two-Test tour of Argentina as part of the Rugby Championship.
Test centurion James Slipper could reach the remarkable milestone of the most capped Wallaby of all time if he plays both Tests of the tour and currently sits just one match shy of George Gregan’s record of 139 matches for Australia.
Latest Brumbies signing David Feliuai has also been named and will be a chance to make his Wallabies debut alongside uncapped speedster, Corey Toole.
Schmidt said: “It’s been a challenging couple of weeks but as a coaching group we are keen to continue trying to help a mostly consistent group go forward.” “The Pumas have a talented and robust squad, which, along with the travel, will require further improvement from our squad.”
The squad will travel to Argentina on Friday ahead of Tests against Los Pumas in La Plata and Santa Fe.
