Graham Reed.

The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies would like to express their deepest sympathies and condolences to the family and friends of Graham Reed who sadly passed away on the 18th March 2025 surrounded by family and close friends after a brave battle with cancer.

Reed was a legend of Marist rugby, who has left behind a lasting impact on the game and the rugby community in Canberra. Featuring in the Australian Schoolboys side in 1977 and 1978 among other representative outfits, the Canberra Royals and Tuggeranong Vikings legend always remained deeply involved with rugby elevating many Canberra teams with his desire and guidance over the years.

A legendary rugby man with both Royals and Vikings, doting father and pop and keen fisherman. Graham Reed will be sorely missed by all who have had the honour to have known, been coached, or received his guidance throughout the time he spent with us.

He will deeply be missed across ACT and Australian Rugby though his legacy will live on.
