The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies will kick off their 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season on Friday 23 February against the Rebels in Melbourne, with SANZAAR confirming an exciting draw for the club which features three Saturday afternoon games in the nation’s capital.

Stephen Larkham’s side will return to Melbourne for Super Round after the tournament’s opening weekend, with the Brumbies taking on the Western Force for their first home game in Canberra on Saturday 9 March at 2:35pm.

The draw will see the Brumbies play seven games at home, including clashes against traditional rivals, the NSW Waratahs on Saturday 6 April, the Hurricanes on 27 April and the Crusaders on 18 May, the games against the ‘Canes and last season’s champions both being Saturday 2:35pm kick offs.

Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies head coach, Stephen Larkham said: “We’re pleased to have the draw now and we’re already excited for the season ahead.”

“To have seven exciting games at home, three afternoon kick offs, it’s great for our members and fans.

“From the team’s perspective, the competition is extremely competitive and we’ll want to get off to a good start as always so all of our attention now will be on Friday 23 February against the Rebels in Melbourne.”
