The ACT Brumbies are pleased to announce Marist College as the 2025 winners of the Brumbies Territory ‘Team of the Year’.
For the 2025 season, the ACT Brumbies introduced our Brumbies Territory - Team of the Year initiative. Giving registered players a special offer to join with a Brumbies Membership, the ultimate commitment to the club. The 2025 Brumbies Territory - Team of the Year has been revealed to coincide with the start of the community rugby season. Marist College Rugby Club have been named as this season’s winners, achieving the biggest take-up of our 2025 Registered Player memberships. As a result, they will receive an exclusive game day experience at ACT Brumbies vs Waratahs on Saturday 3 May, kick-off 7:35pm.
ACT Brumbies Rugby forms the cornerstone of Rugby Union in the ACT and Southern NSW regions. From the junior competitions to Premier Rugby and the John I Dent Cup - Our Brumbies Territory.
We continue to build a better connection with our grassroots competitions and aim to foster a pathway of lifelong support for the ACT Brumbies.
The offer allowed junior players access to all seven home games for only $35, whilst senior players received a 4-game flexi membership for the same price. The numbers were combined across junior and senior clubs, with Marist College making up 27% of all player memberships.
Uni-Norths finished in second with 13% of memberships redeemed, with several clubs following closely behind.
The uptake of this membership offer was enormous, and saw registered players join the Brumbies family from as far as Armidale, Albury–Wodonga, and Wagga Wagga.
As the Brumbies Territory - Team of the Year, Marist juniors will partake in the ball delivery, half-time competition and guard of honour. On top of this, the club will provide the ball-kids for the Super Rugby match, as well as being featured on the big screen at the game.
The registered player membership offers are still available to take up, if registered players would like to join the Brumbies family in 2025. Registered players will receive an email with the details for how to redeem, upon registration.
Whilst club rugby is renowned for its fierce rivalries, the support of the Brumbies continues to be a source of common ground.
