But James Slipper answered straight back on the hour mark as the hosts took a commanding lead into the last 20 minutes of the game.

The visitors kept the pressure on as they tried to force the game into extra time.
But the Brumbies' experience was the difference as they forced multiple mistakes late in the game for the win.
