The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies will host their annual Women in Business, Leadership & Sport Luncheon, presented by Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers at Hotel Realm, Barton on Friday September 6 from 12:30PM - 2:30PM.

This isn't just any luncheon; it's a vibrant networking event with a mission to champion female-focused rugby initiatives.

Your presence at this event goes beyond enjoying a sophisticated meal and engaging conversations. It's a chance to contribute directly to the growth and empowerment of women in rugby. Every dollar raised will support female rugby programs, helping to foster talent and build opportunities within the Brumbies Academy and community rugby for women and girls.

This unforgettable afternoon will feature special guest speaker's Olympic cyclist Chloe Hosking, former Wallaroo and Rugby Australia Co-President Kristy Giteau and Rowing Australia Chief Executive Sarah Cook who will share their experiences in sports and leadership based on their Olympic journeys, a delicious three-course lunch complete with a premium beverage package, and ample networking opportunities with like-minded professionals and enthusiasts.

By joining us, you're not just attending a luncheon; you're playing a crucial role in driving the success and development of these essential female-focused rugby programs. Don’t miss this chance to make a lasting impact and connect with a community dedicated to empowering women in sport.

Mark your calendar and be part of a transformative event that celebrates and supports the future of women in rugby.

Acting as a fundraiser to support female rugby programs in Canberra and to foster the growth and development of female athletes, the ultimate mission of the Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies is to provide equal opportunities for women and girls to participate and excel in this traditionally male-dominated sport.

With various fundraising activities on the day – including auctions, raffles, and donation opportunities – all proceeds raised will directly benefit female rugby programs, which Scott says slowly growing each year.
