A historic schedule of trial games featuring international opposition will help Australia's Super Rugby Women's teams fine-tune preparations for the highly-anticipated 2024 season.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the Brumbie's Super W side will face Hong Kong China in the club's double header at Viking Park on Saturday February 3.
General Manager Rugby Performance, Hong Kong China Rugby Jo Hull: "Ahead of the Asia Rugby Championships in May 2024, heading over to Canberra provides our Hong Kong China women's 15s squad an opportunity to spend a meaningful period of time together and crucially to gain exposure to opposition outside of Asia.
"Working closely with the Brumbies, we are very excited about the opportunity for our coaches to try different combinations, as well as see some of our younger players in the Hong Kong China shirt.
"For this group, it is about providing additional performance opportunities at a representative level, and with the Super Rugby Women's going from strength to strength each year, this really is an excellent fit."
A Pasifika team comprised of the best women's players in Samoa and Tonga will be based on the Gold Coast for a three-match tour. With ACT's Super W side traveling north to tackle the Pasifika XV in Saturday March 2.
