The 2025 season shapes to be another proud chapter for our mighty Brumbies. With a British and Irish Lions tour on the horizon - and two home world cups in 2027 and 2029 respectively - there is much for our players, members and supporters to look forward to. Our boys are working hard on continuing their proud and hard-earned legacy as the most successful Super Rugby side in Australian history.
With 7 home games in 2025, most of which are against traditional rivals, Brumbies fans have a chance to be a part of history as a defining era in Australian rugby commences. The 2025 Super Rugby season promises unprecedented competitiveness in a year in which quality and depth appear greater than ever.
The British and Irish Lions return to Australian shores for the first time in 12 years, meaning our boys will be up against the best of the best in vying for a Wallabies call-up for the prestigious series. Competition within the Brumbies squad, too, to cement a first-team spot will undoubtedly propel the team to even greater heights.
The past three seasons have provided a similar story – so close, yet so far for our men. It is up to our supporters – our 16th player – to deliver an effort deserving of a champion team. By supporting the Brumbies, and in turn, Australian rugby, you can be the cornerstone of the game’s success in our proud sporting country.
The time for action is now. It is up to us, as Australia’s premier team, to capitalise on these promising times. GIO Stadium can return the fortress it once was, as 20,000+ at Bruce will instil fear in even our most formidable opponents.
As we approach 30 years since the Brumbies inception, rather than attempting to wind back the clock, we must deliver in the present, to ensure a future in which the Brumbies can remain the premier team in one of the nation’s pre-eminent sports.
