The Australia U18s team contains a host of talent from last year’s successful squad that defeated the Kiwis last October.
This includes prop Kingsley Uys, second-row Will Ross and back-rower Heinz Lemoto among others.
NSW Waratahs standouts Justice Taumoepeau and Jarvis Orr have been named in the back-row, having helped the ‘Tahs dominate the Super Rugby U16 competition in previous years.
Fullback Nicholas Conway headlines the backline after his appearance at the World U20 Championships.
Conway played two games at the tournament and is already signed with the Queensland Reds alongside returning playmaker Finn Mackay and centre Treyvon Pritchard.
Scrum half Chayse Geros joins Mackay in the halves, with Cyrus Bloomfield linking up with Pritchard as the centre pairing.
The bench includes several stars from last year’s squad including lock Isaac Fonua, scrum half Angus Grover and TJ Talaileva.
They are joined by a host of exciting prospects, with Waratahs playmaker Talen Risati staring for Australia U16s last year.
Meanwhile, the Schoolboys team is also flush with talented or-sects, with the likes of James Finegan and Denzel Veikune spending time in the Australia U16 program in previous years.
The Australia U18s will play NZ Secondary Schools in Canberra on September 29 and October 4, with the Schoolboys team facing Fiji in the game prior.
