The Brumbies have kicked off their 2023 U19s program with an ACT Development side defeating Warringah Rats Colts in Sydney on Saturday.

Penrith number eight Tevita Alatini bagged a double, with fellow Emu Bonamarei Taiki and Royals centre Jarrah McLeod also getting on the scoresheet.

Tuggeranong fullback Shane Wilcox chipped in with three conversions.

ACT Brumbies Head of Elite Pathways & Player Development, Daniel Hooper said: “Thanks to Warringah for inviting us down for what was an important hit-out to start the process of identifying our U19 team for the National U19 Championships later this year.”

“We got really good value out of the match, being able to get a good look at our existing Academy players in a match situation, as well as viewing some new players who have arrived in Canberra this year”.
